The Central Axemen’s Association brings together woodchoppers from across the central North Island, from Hicks Bay to Wellington’s southern coast. We run and support local shows, register competitors, and work to grow the sport at every level. Proudly affiliated with the New Zealand Axemen’s Association, CAA keeps the tradition alive while creating new opportunities for athletes and fans to experience the thrill of competitive woodchopping.
